I am noticing much more growth than I anticipated, as a TIST practitioner working with my actual clients. I feel noticeably more confident in my therapy practice, because I’ve gained a stronger and deeper understanding of the framework and what it could look like to apply the skills with clients. I feel more brave applying TIST skills in moments where I used to be more hesitant. I’ve observed several improvements and successes with my clients since starting Level 3 — such as clients grasping un-blending skills earlier on (leading to more relief, more containment of reactions, and less confusion about conflicting internal experiences), clients building more internal security (and more internal “team cohesion” among their parts) sooner, and parts of clients getting to experience more reparative work sooner. ~Jon (they/them)
It’s been great- clients really take to the model and it has advanced my confidence with clients struggling with “stickiness” as a result of parts activity. ~ Pam
I have found it brings a calmness and curiosity to the therapy room. The model is so non- judgmental and open and I have found that it’s helped address issues and create movement in therapy where things had been stuck. I love it! ~Judith
This course has better equipped me to work with severely traumatized patients. Current clients have stabilized at an increased rate. It has given me tools to work well with clients whom I previously may not have known how to help. It has increased my confidence when working with clients who are very de-stabilized. ~Jennifer
This course has given me the tools and resources to work with complex cases and situations and is helping my clients immensely. Thank you Janina and team! ~Natajsa
