With De West
Dear Colleague,
As a mental health professional, you show up with care, presence, and compassion for your clients every day.
But who’s holding space for you?
Over the years, I’ve worked with many therapists, social workers, and healing professionals who carry an invisible weight—one that slowly builds in the body through long hours of sitting, listening, and absorbing the stories of others.
You might feel it as tension in your shoulders. A nervous system that never fully settles. A growing sense of disconnection, from your own breath, your body, even your joy…
That’s why I’m so excited about the Trauma-Informed Yoga Sessions I run through Academy of Therapy Wisdom…
Trauma-informed yoga isn’t about touching your toes, it’s about returning to yourself.
Through simple, accessible practices rooted in neuroscience and compassion, I’ll guide you in exploring tools you can use right away to help you recharge between client sessions, reconnect with your own body, and gently bring these healing modalities into your work with clients.
No yoga mat needed. No experience required. Just a willingness to show up and receive.
Members are invited to tune into two 1-hour sessions every month – and if you can’t make it live, you can watch the recordings at your convenience.
If you’re feeling stretched thin, or simply curious how yoga can support your work, I’d love for you to join us.
Warmly,
De West
